Everything about House Hunters totally explained

House Hunters is an American television series that airs at 10:00pm nightly (and in reruns at various other times) on the cable television network Home & Garden Television, aka HGTV.
Hosted by Suzanne Whang, the program follows individuals, couples, or families searching for a new home with the assistance of a realtor. Each broadcast features three properties, one of which is selected by the prospective buyer, whose offer generally is accepted by the seller. In the final moments of the show, the new owner provides a tour of the house, revealing what changes and/or improvements were made after moving in.
In early seasons of the series, prices and locations were never mentioned. The viewing audience is now privy to the amounts being asked for each house or condominium. Star Jones Reynolds has hosted 5 episodes of the show, which were the highest-rated shows in the cable channel's history.
A recently-added international version of the show, also hosted by Whang, has concentrated on properties in Europe, the Caribbean, Central America and Argentina.
